Ordered the quiche and salad and 2x big breakfasts with changes to an normal order. The staff were amazing in catering to the changes, and providing a smile in the process. Very respectful young gentlemen on front of house and back of house service. Coffee is amazing in large cups and brewed excellently by a well trained and courteous barista. Would give more stars if they were available. Thank you for the wonderful lunch.

Golden bean aka friendly grocer is one of those places you are glad exists. The cookies they sell that are made at the Cedar pocket hall are probably the best I've had in a long long time and need to receive more credit and advertising, they are that good. The coffee is probably the best coffee in gympie. I have been to almost every coffee shop in town and it has to be the best tasting and well made coffee. It has grocies and some beautiful ready to eat or reheat meals in town. The lasagna is one of my favorite meals to buy and its a good size serving. Definitely worth supporting this local business. Edit- @Lauren- a cafe/pub/restaurant only has to provide a toilet if the establishment caters for 100+ customers, and as good as that is I don't think gold bean will have 100+ customers inside at once. Come to think of it, i dont know of any cafes in town that have toilets for customers There is however a public toilet a few hundred meters south of there.

The new owners have done such an amazing job with Goldbean!! Looks amazing and clean, so much choice of food and it always tastes lovely and it is really nice to deal with all their friendly staff.

Gympie's 1 stop food shop. Weather you're after a seated lunch, take away, coffee or groceries - the Gold Bean Foodstop will not disappoint. A family owned and operated establishment, conveniently located. I've never had a bad experience at this store, the food is fresh, the staff are all lovely and the prices are competitive.
